I started writing this album nearly a year ago. It was always intended to be a soundtrack to a straight up scare the pants off you horror film but with time it changed and morphed into something else. It took on a life of its own and I realised that I was writing the soundtrack to a film that I would have loved to have seen as a kid. With that in mind I went to work on creating a love letter to the classic films of my childhood and went down the route of creating music for a film that was basically intended to be a cross between The Goonies, Fright Night and The Lost Boys where the plucky gang of nerdy outcasts risk everything to save their town and win.
